Our Tribute
Greenacres Memorial Park and the entire Moles team is committed to our country’s Veterans. Our complimentary Veterans graves Entitlement Program at Greenacres, close working relationship with Honor Guard organizations, and the annual Festival of Flags are three opportunities we have to respect and honor these heroes.

Festival of Flags
The Festival is our highpoint for honoring our county’s Veterans each year. Started in 1964 by Albert J. Hamilton American Legion Post #7 as the Avenue of Flags, the Festival of Flags, hosted at Greenacres, has become a movement to call people back to the true spirit of Memorial Day, and to help families have their own tradition that honors our country's heroes.

The event features keynote speakers, a fly-over by vintage aircraft, an honors naming ceremony, a variety of active duty troops, Festival bands, refreshments, and 1,300 flags donated by Veterans families in honor of a loved one, as well as more than 2,000 people who are there to honor and appreciate the majesty of the event and all it stands for.
